 2020 Passion Conference

Passion is a movement that had its first ever meeting in 1997. The name stems from its founding place, Passion 268 church. This church in Atlanta, Georgia is pastored by Louis Giglio and he is also the head of the Passion Conferences. I have had the opportunity to go to Passion two years in a row and both years it has been a life changing experience for me.

Passion is the meeting of thousands of college age believers who get to hear from famous Christian music artists as well as many great speakers of the Christian faith. The conferences are usually held over the span of 3 days and lasts throughout New Year’s Eve and Day. Sadly, Passion 2021 was canceled due to COVID-19, so I decided to relive some of my memories from last year by doing my last assignment about it.

Passion 2020 had some of my favorite evangelists come and speak. For example, Ravi Zacharias, Christine Caine, and Louis Giglio were just of few of my favorites. There was also some of the most well-known names in Christian music performing like Lecrae, Hillsong United, and Crowder.

For my last project, I wanted to include a few of my own pictures, as well as some graphics from Passion's social medias, in order to try and fully encompass what the Passion Conference really is.

Me and my sister, Maddy, taken one day at the conference!
A video of one of my favorite evangelists, Ravi Zacharias, when he spoke to us at Passion. Ravi passed away in May, so I feel very fortunate to have gotten to hear him speak!
Passion 2020 was held in the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta, Georgia. This time, instead of thousands of football fans, it was filled with 65,000 college students!

A picture I took from the back of the stadium, pictures cannot do justice how big the stadium was!

One of my favorite parts of Passion! We got to ring in 2020 while singing with Hillsong United!

Overall, I am extremely thankful to have gotten to be a part of Passion 2020 Conference. While 2020 has been a very hard and confusing year, I am grateful that I get to look back at its first days and have these incredible memories.
